Can't get a refill
I placed an order to refill a prescription for birth control. It shows it takes up to 2 business days for a doctor to review.
After about a week and it still not reviewed I did an online chat, they said they'd message the doctor. A few more days pass and still no review so I do the chat again, they send another message to the doctor. Still no acceptance of this. Now 2 weeks after I do it again.
They finally tell me the doctor declined the order. Although there is no way of showing me it was declined. Now I only have 5 days left of my birth control. I try to do an E-visit they tell me I need to make an appointment in order to get it.
I've been on this birth control for 4 years. I can't get an appointment for a few days, by then I will be out of my birth control. I know this isn't as serious as some prescriptions, but being on this for years and getting cut off messes with hormones. They have given me the run around.
I've been stressed trying everything I can. It's no help whatsoever.

We admitted him today in the hospital because he was not feeling well from a procedure that he had the other day.
I was astonished at the Unprofessional attitude of the staff members and the lack of empathy for the elderly.
When we were admitting him, we were treated like High powered prisoners in the penal facility.
I just wish that I had a camera to show the other disregard for humanity that is displayed amongst the staff, and you would think that the nurses and caregivers would have a little more empathy for the elderly and treat people with respect.
And some sense of compassion, knowing that when people are going to the hospital, everyone is traumatized for their loved ones and to it compounded with Rude and disrespect unprofessional feedback adds to the trauma.
And Im sure its true because hes on Medicare so if you dont have money, you dont get the care that you would if you were paying higher premiums, Im sure .
But no matter what after reviewing this it just seems like these people need to go to a class to learn how to treat people because what I saw today is something that nobody would want to see one of their loved ones go through and its totally unacceptable .
It would be amazing to have hidden camera go in there to see these people and if they could just see themselves in the mirror of how they treat other people and if they had any sense of self-respect and caregivers, compassion for humanity is very absent Maybe they were just having a bad day but all of them at the same time.

The problem with being a member of the Kaiser-Permanente Medical Clinic System is that it is a TRICK-TRAP! When you join their Medicare "benefits" Program you are LOCKED INTO using ONLY THEIR doctors and those THEY REFER you to.
OTHERWISE your medical costs WILL NOT be covered! They ALSO "play games" about their pharmaceutical forumulary coverage!
I had a VERY BAD experience with my FIRST (and ONLY doctor) visit there so that I am CANCELING my membership and SWITCHING BACK to the AETNA-Silverscript Plan where I can go to ANY DOCTORSAND DRUGGISTS I want to WHEN I want to!
I had been prescribed an allergy nasal spray medication I NEED as a staple of my chronic respiratory allergy treatment at another clinic prior to joining KP. My Silverscript Plan covered it but when I joined Kaiser they told me that THEIR Plan DID NOT. However, they stated that they would cover it the first time and after that I would have to get one of their doctors to issue a "Prior Authorization Request" for it.
So I went to the clinic and told the doctor this. She went to her office and came back with a document that she CLAIMED would ALLOW me to get the medication because she said she had looked in the KP Formulary and she SAID she SAW it was in it BUT (and THIS is the OTHER "stickler" about KP) I could ONLY get it at THEIR pharmacy; NONE other! I accepted that condition just being relieved it was available and went down to the "in-house" pharmacy. When I showed the pharmacist the document, which UNfortunately I had NOT looked at closely since I had TRUSTED what the doctor told me, he pointed out that the medication is classified as NOT COVERED by KP and that the KP Medicare Plan DID NOT ACCEPT "Prior Authorizations" for it EVEN IF one of their doctors requested it because it could be purchased there over-the-counter.
BUT for FORTY BUCKS; whereas with my Silverscript Plan I was paying ONLY A DOLLAR for it!! So she had BLATANTLY LIED to me!
It was too late in the day for me to go back and see her about it since the clinic was closing so the next week I went back attempting to speak with her and was told by the receptionist it is the NEW KP POLICY for doctors to NOT speak with clients in-person about their medication issues except either by an appointment visit or online. I then went to the Membership Agent about it and she REFUSED to get involved saying there was NOTHING she could do and the KP "case managers" DON'T meet PERSONALLY with clients BUT ONLY on the phone!

I did ultrasound twice, but each time it gave the wrong result. That's why I don't trust ultrasound anymore.
Only during the scraping process did the doctor see the real cause of my gynecological problem. After the scraping operation, I felt better for about 6 months, but everything resumed. I had Augestine tablets and took them again for 21 days, but after stopping taking the tablets everything resumed. I remember how it started for me.
On February 24, 2022, the war began in Ukraine and after 3 weeks I started bleeding. I am from Ukraine and my parents live in a risk zone in the frontline zone. Daily worries about my family do not give me health, but on the contrary, I lose blood. I'm not saying that I don't have a close relationship with my husband.
Im lying there bleeding and my thoughts are absolutely not optimistic. I ask gynecologists to help me recover not temporarily, but so that I forget what it means to bleed and have regular periods like all normal women.
Perhaps I will contact the director of Kaiser Permanent but I will do everything possible to solve my problem. Sorry but I am really tired.

This is the worst insurance out there
Preferred solution: Nothing because every time you call to speak to a manager they never available or they keep transferring you which is very frustrating
